I've told my husband for years that if Amazon ever makes a waterproof Kindle I'm throwing my money at them. The time has arrived!! I've owned many Kindles and am a big bathtub reader. So, if you want the king of all E-Readers, then this is it! So obviously if you’re even considering this product then you know exactly what you are looking for. You are not looking for a tablet or a multi-use device. And again, if you want the best of the best when it comes to reading books, THIS IS IT. I mean it’s not even a close comparison. Amazon really knocked it out of the park with this product. I have been a kindle owner since the kindle keyboard years ago. It served me well until I upgraded to the paperwhite, and then to this second gen. oasis… All in all, this is an amazing device and a luxury book reader.
